Expect The Unexpected

Talia makes amazing breakfast
You’re here to support James on his new night, but you don’t think you’ll stay out. Who are these models coming in? Is that Mari? She looks so beautiful, she must have lost 15 pounds. She’s only footsteps away, and she wont stop staring at you, but you’re too lazy to say anything. Micheal sits down next to her and they start talking but she still keeps looking over and smiling. He finally leaves. The seat dance. You and Mari are leaning over talking, it was inevitable. The room is getting crowded. Her long brown hair is falling over forward while you are engaged in intimate conversation creating an effective anti-bro shield. You kiss her and act like it’s insignificant. But actually, it makes you more drunk than the Campari-Orange that you’ve been nursing. It isn’t a “Spider Man upside-down kiss in the rain” sort of kiss. It is the kind of kiss that Dashboard is singing about in ‘Hands Down’ sort of kiss. You guys leave and go to Lit. She knows no one there so she holds your hand as you walk through the crowd. You order her a gin and tonic. You introduce her to your friends. The girls hate her. The boys love her cleavage. They flirt with her when you talk to the owner, they flirt with her when you talk to the DJ, they flirt with her when you talk to Rosa who’s back from rehab, they flirt with her when you talk to the bouncer and they flirt with her when you talk to Candace, the waitress who buys you guys Patron shots. Mari is a star. She’s the new girl. And now the new girl’s had enough. She puts her head on your shoulder and she says “Can we go?”. The cab is outside, waiting already, because, you know, some nights your life unfolds like a movie. As you open the door to your apartment, all the vodka redbulls kick in and she pushes you against the wall and kisses you.
beautiful
this hipster trash makes me want to vomit blood…”enfolds like a movie??????”…
I think I’m going to throw up.
I love this
I really love these pieces. They works as beautiful microcosms of the city at night. Lastnightsparty just keeps getting better and better.
Totally agreed with Brooks. This site is taking off eh?
you must have some intriguing conversation
I really love these pieces and this site, but I’m not sure this makes sense, “some nights your life enfolds like a movie.” Do you mean that it encloses on itself like in a movie? Or did you really just mean unfold?
Thanks Gawkerodent
